>Bereft of his ability to fly and with nowhere to go, a courageous bat climbed aboard our Discovery with stars in his weak little eyes. >The launch commenced, and Spacebat trembled as his little mammalian body was gently pushed skyward. >For the last time, he felt the primal joy of flight; for the first, the indescribable feeling of ascending toward his dream—a place far away from piercing screeches and crowded caves, stretching forever into fathomless blackness. >Whether he was consumed in the exhaust flames or frozen solid in the stratosphere is of no concern to us. Hi guys,
I rescued this kitten from dying out in the cold last November, and I've slowly nursed him to health. Now, he's the sweetest little thing, and I can't think of giving him up (since I've grown attached to the fellow).
My resident apartment manager somehow found out that I have a cat and has filed a 3-day notice for me to get rid of him or vacate. I can't very well look for a new place that allows for pets within the next 2 days... what am I supposed to do?
I'll be posting pics to show the progress of his development as long as I get responses.
Please help!

As Halloween is approaching I thought I'd share some horrors with /an/
Today I awoke to find that one of my hissers had molted. That was all fine and dandy until I did a double take and noticed HALF OF IT WAS MISSING. The poor thing somehow got his abdomen ripped off.
He's still alive and moving around just fine.
But the worst part is that the other roaches are taking turns EATING HIM.
wtf

What kind of foods do humans eat? I just bought a human and he doesnt like the food I've been giving him. I've been just feeding it some leftover food I've had since I've had it.
What should I feed it?
Also can you give me some tips with humans, like the bathroom, being obedient, playing with it, etc.

You forgot to mention what type of nutrition you yourself utilize. Humans tend to eat most of their food cooked, so don't give them raw meat or they may get sick. Also rotting animal or plant (or fungal) matter is not suitable for humans either. Humans lack a herbivore's gut, so if you give them mainly plant-based food, stick to fruits, roots, nuts and legumes. They do need to be fed meat too, unless you enjoy shoving vitamin pills down their throat while they kick and claw and scream obscenities at you. If you want to give them treats, use something high in fat and simple carbohydrates, just not too much. Humans love sugar, but some of them grow obese easily.
Anyway, have fun with your human. They take a long time to train, as they grow mature very slowly, but they are very long-lived, so once you train your human well, he or she will be there to keep you company for a long time.
