My grandfather was in the marines, first to land on japan days before the war was officially over.

He acquired it at Yokosuka naval base from a pile weapons taken from the Japanese.

It has no manufacturer markings of any kind other than these numbers. 229 229(7?)

So /k/ i was out walking in the woods a couple of weeks ago and came upon this old machinegun nest/bunker.
After i came home i telephoned Fortifikationsverket (Fortification agency, i live in Sweden) and asked if i could buy it, today they phoned me back and said yes.
I paid 1SEK for it (0.7USD) and had to promise to get it back into shape.

Hello /k/. While doing some home construction, I recently found what looks to be the remains of a gun. Needless to say I am very uncomfortable just throwing it out anywhere, so my question is; what is the best way to destroy it or make sure it is inoperable? I'm hoping this is the best place to ask. Just purchased a photo album with hundreds of WW2 pics in it at an estate sale. The gentleman who passed away (sorry, I didn't get the name) was apparently a member of one of the flying tiger squadrons. I'm going to donate the pictures to a local library but first I scanned them and will share some of the best ones here.

This is kind of weapons related, but remember when you played with army men when you were a kid? What soldiers made you rage? Me, I hated the minesweepers and the people talking on a radio.

Hai guise, I was wondering what a weed whacker would do to human flesh. Some of my friends go airshitting at this wigger's house, and his older brother (who is in special education, mind you) usually abuses the guys there by hitting them with his gun, and shooting during ceasefires. If anyone shoots him, he'll go apeshit, if anyone calls him on his dickwad behavior, he'll also go apeshit. Most of the guys are heavily armed trolls who shoot at him through his window as they leave the house, then run like hell. Just wonderin if once I go there I can use the grandma's weed whacker to pwn his ass or at least deter him from starting shit with me.

ITT: Warrior chicks from the times of arrows 'n swords

Ask me questions about the 1992-1995 Balkan Conflict. Here is some back ground info. Served for about a year in the JNA 4th corp, was stationed in Sarajevo, was 17 at the time and was turning 18, I'm 34 now turning 35. I used an M70, but have shot many other firearms, when the war started I joined the Hamze 505 with my cousin, also fought with the Crne Mambe [black mambas] which was pretty much a spec ops group. Ask away, I'll answer anything I can, my memory is beginning to fade.
