I seem to remember something like this... Were they doorknobs? Well to tell the truth, once the weekend's over I won't have much time during the week... If I had a source for it I'd take a look, and if it looked like I could do it in one sitting I might, but no promises. It's fun if I enjoy the actual doujin, but tedious if I don't.

There are a few other things in there changed slightly, but pretty much it's based speech bubble-per-bubble on the Japanese.

Nice job not using Comic Sans. Not saying this out of contempt, or with sarcasm. I've just lost fucking count of the amount of blatant Comic Sans rewrites almost spammed here recently.

Is this a rewrite or just a translation with some literary freedoms.

It's a direct translation with a few freedoms taken but I'd say at least 95% of the original meaning is intact. I tried to note any big changes on the first page translator notes, but really there aren't any big changes.

The few things that I did juggle a little didn't change meaning, just I tried to translate them into this cultural context. For example, using blue/orange portals instead of parent/child which would have been confusing I thought.

When I first heard the title, I thought it be a full length Portal adaptation. It is, but it's futa! God damnit!

Yeah, I did take liberties with the title, since the 電脳学園エデン (Dennou Gakuen Eden) is the title of the series but not specifically this issue, and there was no apparent title to specify this issue.

Not really you doing all the work but rather to do translation checking or just plain editting.

I have some stuff I got from danbooru and other pages which was already translated but I suck at photoshop.
Some other stuff are things I tried translating on my own but where I'm unsure I made some huge mistakes (and where, again, I have no good photoshop skills to work with).

Sounds like it might be fun, but actually my time for doing this stuff is pretty limited. I'm pretty busy during the week, and I usually don't like to be photoshopping cum dripping futas while my wife is around so that can limit the weekend. But if it's something I can do in one sitting late at night then I think I could help. I consider my shopping skills to be pretty good. If it's Japanese help you're after, I'm not a native speaker. I've lived here for two years though and can usually read through untranslated stuff posted here with 90% or so comprehension. When I sit down to translate I have to really work through a few of the more difficult spots more carefully though.

I'm just saying, if you're only saving up the hardest parts, it might not be all that much faster to get help from me.

I personally believe that, unless you're charging for your translation, it should be 70-80% accurate to release it.
It doesn't have to be 100% accurate nor just wild guesses which leave you just as dumbfolded as with the japanese version.

I just fear that some stuff might be completely wrong because I misunderstood one part of the sentence. That is all.
Also, I can't be completely sure of how correct the stuff from danbooru is. And they never bother to photoshop it so it looks right.

Anyways, about the content, it's not futa. Would probably genderbending and bondage if you're fine with that (pic related, was the only MSPaint version which looked decent).

I don't have anything against futa, actually I like it. It's just a little on the /d/ side to be open in photoshop with my wife over my shoulder. If the material is good though, no matter how /d/eviant, I'd find time to work on it if it looked fun.

Anyway, I wouldn't mind taking a look at stuff. Pack up whatever you want me to look at most into a rar or zip or something, and email it to me, or if it's large put it on megarotic or rapidshare then email me the link, and let me know exactly what it is you'd like me to do with it in your email.

That one is ok, but nothing special really. It focuses mostly on standard futa sex in the name of scientific research. It also gives a bit more backstory on some of the characters, and by backstory, I mean introducing that there are a bunch of clones and people are confused about who's who.

I'll upload it for you, but like I said, not that special...
