it is without a shadow of a doubt the best hip hop album there is. he is on anticon, and in some respects it is similar to other anticon stuff, but with none of the gay vocals or stupid pop shit. pretty aggressive and sombre without being angsty or emo, it is amazing, not a single skippable track.

this album is much more 'mature' sounding than his other stuff.

mummy fortuna's theatre company - Born Of Man And Flies

only four tracks, two of which are instrumental. the rapper is absolutely amazing though, really fast without sounding awful - incredible flow. the dj now makes post-rock, and that comes out in the beats. really beautiful stuff.

While looking at your collection, I noticed a few bands you were lacking. First is Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti. He is a really experimental lo-fi artist. His album House Arrest is wonderful.
Second is Earth. They are a drone band that inspired Sunn O))). I remember someone telling me that Sunn O))) started as an Earth cover band.
Lastly is The National. They are a really good indie band. Their albums Alligator and Boxer are essential.
