Holy crap, this happened to me just the other day. I mean, it wasn't on a grand scale or anything; I was just walking home and it was dark, and I was wishing our neighborhood had more streetlights - I saw the next one was coming up and felt a little relieved, but then it went out as I got within about a block of it. Not really creepy at the time, mostly just a "god dammit!" moment, but it's still kind of creepy now to know it happens to some people on a regular basis.

Been happening to me for 6 or 7 years, maybe once or twice a month. It normally happens if I go to sleep a bit earlier if I am completely exhausted (I'm an athlete). It's an incredibly loud crashing sound unlike anything i can compare to that closely, but my ears don't ring/hurt afterward. Sure startles the shit out of me though, especially since it's always in that just falling asleep stage.

And now I'm going to start experiencing EHS now that I've read about it. Son of a bitch.

I've been through the Bunnyman Bridge at 3AM before.

I've also been to Point Pleasant, West Virginia where the Mothman sightings took place, and Flatwoods, where the Flatwoods Monster resides.

I used to think that nothing interesting came out of West Virginia, but the Flatwoods Monster became really big in Japan, especially in the Kamen Riders-type stuff.

We also have the Widickers, which isn't an urban myth or monster tale, they're a giant family of inbreds, that you can hear making noises from half a mile away. They live in a valley near a major road in Odd, West Virginia, and they police are scared shitless of them. Went down there one night out of curiosity, and about six or seven wrong-turn looking inbreds surrounded our car, started beating on the windows, before someone came out of their house with a shotgun, and we decided to high-tail it out of there.

I usually see a figure or something at the end of my bed, but its like the whole room is lit in blue. And I feel a weight on my throat. It even happened to me when I crashed on a friend's sofa, I was gasping for breath feeling myself being pulled into the sofa. John Stalvern waited. The lights above him blinked and sparked out of the air. There were demons in the base. He didn't see them, but had expected them now for years. His warnings to Cernel Joson were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.
John was a space marine for fourteen years. When he was young he watched the spaceships and he said to dad "I want to be on the ships daddy."
Dad said "No! You will BE KILL BY DEMONS"
There was a time when he believed him. Then as he got oldered he stopped. But now in the space station base of the UAC he knew there were demons.
"This is Joson" the radio crackered. "You must fight the demons!"
So John gotted his palsma rifle and blew up the wall.
"HE GOING TO KILL US" said the demons
"I will shoot at him" said the cyberdemon and he fired the rocket missiles. John plasmaed at him and tried to blew him up. But then the ceiling fell and they were trapped and not able to kill.
"No! I must kill the demons" he shouted
The radio said "No, John. You are the demons"
And then John was a zombie.
