Everything is okay, before I hear a low humming noise, followed by the entire pop up shaking violently, like some huge man is outside shaking the hell out of the thing. My mother doesn't even wake up. She turns over, and her eyes open, but her face remained expressionles.. she stared at me for a few seconds, and then turned over very sharply in her bed.

Then, my candle goes out for no reason and the light from my uncle's house comes on. I sit up, really shaken up at this point, and what I see scares the living fuck out of me.

The dog is sitting there, in the middle of the yard. Fucking staring at me. His face is emotionless. All of a sudden, he starts whining and walking towards me.

Okay, so I just got kicked out of my uncle's house. My aunt came out, said "you're still up at four am?!" turned the light off, and now I am in my creepy popup/tent thing.

weird noises are everywhere. it sounds almost as if someone is bowling, only instead of the steady sound you'd get as the ball went down the lane, there's a "thumpa-thumpa-thumpa-KA THUNK!" noise.. the windows are unzipped. it's unusually cold which is strange, because inside it was really warm. the camper keeps shaking randomly and swaying at weird intervals. not looking outside atm, but things keep flashing in my peripheral vision.

I AM NOT LETTING THIS THREAD DIE GODDAMMIT. Okay, here's something that me and mine have used for a while to sort of 'clean' places:

Get your hands of some variant of cedar. It should be twigs from a shrub, preferably stuff that you've found yourself (but it's alright if you can't). If you can, get an abalone shell and a feather from the wing or tail of a bird (hawk is good, eagle is better, but anything should work) and light the cedar. Fan the flame so that it goes out, and fan the smoke into the corners of the places you want purified. The cedar purifies places with bad shit going down.

After that, smudge yourself. Get some white sage (they have bundles of it, but loose-leaf is alright if you can't find them), light it and fan out the flame. Fan the smoke into every corner of your space and then have someone else fan it over you. The sage protects you and keeps bad shit from happening to you.

Like I said, this has worked for me and mine, and the sage will work better if you do the cedar first. This comes from Native tradition; certain powwows sage the dancers before they go in the circle for Grand Entry.

I really hope this clears up for you. I'll be watching this thread.
