Hello, Americans.

I am a Russian looking to take a trip to the continental United States. I can speak decent English, but am much better at reading and writing it, so communication shouldn't be a problem.

What are some good places to go? I am interested in nature and prefer clean cities. I am told much of Northern California is beautiful.

I am told that Americans are sometimes hostile to Russians when they visit America. Is this true? Are there places I should avoid?

DPRK (Democratic People's Republic of Korea) is currently taking reservations for summer trips (for August 2010).
The visitors will be permitted to visit Pyongyang's many attractions such as People's square and Revolutionary museums. The highlight of visit will be world-famous ARIRANG mass gymnastics game.

The trip os scheduled to last between 12th and 21st of August.

So there's a few things I've learned about our lovely Canada, just from browsing /int/ for a while.

- We have no culture, apparently
- We are sensitive to being called Americunts
- At least 3/8 people want to move to Canada for some reason
- Quebecois at least hate Americans more than they hate the rest of us

With that being said, ask a Canadian anything you like.
